The terrorists in jamu and Kashmir had a free time till they made sneak and cowardly attacks on the security forces and innocent people. Today we have a different situation. If the pakistanis have cultivated the terrorist and separatist in J&K, the Nationalist's have cultivated the common people. This is a new era of terrorist Vs nationalist.

Some how,the peace loving people of J&K have been hijacked by the handfull seperatists and terrorists. The Hindu brigade (refer this), has started cultivating these section.

Though the wikipedia article has been temperorally locked for editing, I just want to take a small paragraph from there.

The protests highlighted the eclipse of secularism in the state of Jammu and Kashmir [30] It also highlighted widespread frustration among both Hindus and Muslims in Jammu with the appeasement of separatists in the Kashmir valley.[31][32]. The separatist-muslim dominated north west (Kashmir valley), not ready to provide land for Amarnath yatris, succeeded in revoking the land transfer through violent protests. Jammu's Hindu and Muslim nationalists in the south west (Jammu) [33]are equally opposed to the appeasement decision to revoke the land transfer. Thus, a regional divide emerged between Jammu and Kashmir.[34], while eastern Ladakh remains aloof.

The Gujjar Muslim community strongly attacked the statement of separatist leaders that Muslims in Jammu do not want to live with Hindus of the region. They described it as "an attempt to drive a wedge between communities bonded with each other by language and culture for centuries".[35]

Hindu groups like Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)etc have come forward and taken up the cause of non separatist and non militant people.

This complicates the matter. Earlier we had Terrorist at one extreme side, the government forces doing their job and politics. Now we have terrorist/separatist at one extreme end, government forces middle, nationalist forces at other extreme end and then politics.

This has complicated the matter for the terrorists and separatist.

Terrorists/ separatist will have to deal with nationalist who can play games normally played by themselves. The security forces are milder than the Nationalist and have to abide by the guidelines like Human Rights, diplomacy, politics etc.

Now if terrorists decide to kill Hindus, Nationalists can kill Muslims. If Terrorists can raise funds abroad, so can nationalist. if terrorist can move Human Rights, so can nationalist. If terrorists can gain overseas support, so can the nationalist. The list goes on....

Just take todays example. The terrorists and separatists decided to march defying the security forces. So, did nationalist. Did the terrorist and separatist bite too much?
